2047...

Think ahead to the year 2047... World 1: identity This is a world where people place a lot of value on identity. ICT, called "Explore the Unknown", helps people who are meeting each other for the first time to identify the characteristics of their self-identity, such as their political views, their sense of belonging, their art of expressing themselves, and so on, instead of traditional social constructions such as gender, sexual orientation, nationality, and age.   We will remember him.  Jean-Luc Godard (1930-2022) WHAT? I intended to design an online community where Godard film lovers could communicate, share knowledge or simply express their passion in honor of the most iconoclastic of New Wave filmmakers. You would love to join this community if a) you are passionate about Godard films and would like to learn more about his use of film techniques, interviews, personal stories, etc.; b) you want to honor this remarkable filmmaker and would like to share your feelings with people who understand you; c) you are interested in getting to know the most iconoclastic New Wave filmmaker; d) you would like to contribute your knowledge of Godard that more people will appreciate his work and him.  Watch the trailer of Jean-Luc Godard's Breathless  (1960) WHY? No matter if you prefer to be a reader, acquiring knowledge of what others have contributed (remember to leave a comment expressing your appreciation:)), or a contributor, being eager to share

He contends that social interactions are "performances" put on by "teams" of players in "front stage," "back stage," and "off stage" settings. And when we think about today's online world, human interaction seems to have turned into a more prepared "performance". Technologies are not just tools, they are encoded in social relations and conversely, social relations can be represented in technologies (Bruce, 1996).  Goffman's dramaturgical approach A person's "appearance" in social interactions The impact of a person's conduct on the performance as a whole ...
